Operators rooms Design:

Operators rooms is where the actual dental treatments take place. The rooms are furnished with a dental chair for the patient and sufficient space for the doctor and an assistant to operate with easy access to the dental tools. The rooms are either stand alone with all the requirements like water, sink, cups, tissues, Masks, gloves and all other dispensers are provided for each room and housed in the operator’s room cabinets which has running water a sink and a working top for a computer screen, storage drawers, ventilated space to house the computer. Access to X-ray are allocated to each operator

An alternative design is to share some the facilities by housing them in a center island which normally has a sink with running water, shared dispensers for sanitizer, masks and gloves. The x-tray unit is housed in the center island and shared between two operator’s rooms

Operators cabinets are made from antimicrobial panels which inhibits the growth of microbes. The working surface is an impervious stone top, the sink is stainless steel and under mounted

To eliminate space for microbe’s growth. Self-closing European drawers are used. The space provided for the computer is positively ventilated to accommodate CPU generated heat.
